Macbook and PC connected via ethernet cable, allowing the PC to connect to " Home Wifi", but the system labels it as a wired connection. Macbook, connected to " Home Wifi" via inbuilt wifi The wifi on my PC is so unstable even with a new adapter, and it's impossible to get an ethernet cable from the router to my PC. The "ethernet" I'm connected to is actually the wifi of a Macbook with network sharing enabled. The local tech shop are guessing it's a power issue since I upgraded my cpu, gpu, and motherboard, but am still running my old power system. Sometimes it takes a few hours to freeze, sometimes it's instant. WiFi adapter is brand new, and drivers are up to date It's not overheating, RAM is not capping out It came back ONCE without power cycling, by unplugging all the USBs (which includes the wifi adapter), but it eventually froze again PC freezes and all peripherals stop working, requiring a power cycle to get it back. Any thoughts? I've narrowed down this freezing issue to occur only when I'm using both an ethernet connection and a wifi connection.
